Netflix has announced a partnership with the Institute of Immersive Media (IIM).
The organisations are launching the Women’s Virtual Production Training initiative, aiming to equip women working in the European creative industries sector with the skills to work in the field of virtual production.
The training will be led by industry experts, providing in-depth experience in the techniques required to work in high-end TV and film production, said Netflix.

IIM’s founders said, “We are thrilled to be partnering with Netflix on this initiative – our primary mission centres on addressing the gender gap in VP through accessible education, mentorship and training for women By providing training in VP techniques we aim to increase representation in VP expertise across Europe.
