Vodafone Spain is set to launch its first 4K TV offering on 1 March.
The 4K service will include five channels and La Liga, as well as Netflix content.
The portfolio will comprise factual channel Odisea 4K, special events channel Festival 4K, which will provide coverage of festivals, concerts opera and ballet performances and other events, Funbox UHD from SPI International, Insight TV from TERN and SlowChannel, a channel providing images of nature in UHD.
According to the company, the new service will include a new interface which is ‘more visual and intuitive’ and supports multiple simultaneous cloud-based DVR recordings, which can be accessed from multiple STBs throughout the home.
