Fast becoming an IBC tradition, this year’s charity fun run takes place on Saturday morning, in Amstel Park, close to the RAI. Both 4K technologies and the 4K run – you can walk if you prefer – are hot topics at IBC2016.
The IBC run is part of a series held at major industry events around the world. “Registrations have doubled for each event in the series, and total donations now top a quarter of a million dollars,” said organiser Laura Barber, better known as director of marketing at Elemental Technologies.
“The rapid growth of this event has been fantastic, but the potential for its continued expansion is even more exciting,” she said. “Please sign up today and make an impact!”
Organisations benefitting from the IBC2016 event include Heifer International, bringing sustainable agriculture and commerce to areas with a long history of poverty, and Jeugdsportfonds, an Amsterdam charity which helps children whose families cannot afford athletics club membership.
Corporate sponsors include Aspera, ChyronHego, Dolby and Xstream. Media partners include NewBay and Rapid TV News.
4K 4Charity starts at 07:30. Snacks and drinks will be available once you have completed the course, giving you a chance to refuel before heading over to IBC.
