Get your running shoes on: Registrations open for IBC 4K 4Charity Virtual Run

Raising money for Technovation and UNICEF

Registrations are now open for this year’s 4K 4Charity Run at IBC, which is being held virtually for the first time.

Like its sister event at NAB, this year’s IBC run is inviting participants to join in from any location.

Runners can select a 4K (2.49-mile) or 8K (4.97-mile) distance, print out a race bib, and then complete the route by 30th October 30at their own pace, whether it’s on one day or across several days.

A portion of proceeds from this year’s event will go to Technovation, a global tech education nonprofit that empowers girls and families to become leaders, creators and problem-solvers in their lives and communities. It will also support UNICEF, which is on the ground in more than 190 countries, partnering with front-line responders to keep children healthy and learning, and protected from sickness and violence.

“We are delighted to be working with 4K 4Charity again this year and very much look forward to seeing everyone’s virtual runs around the world during IBC Showcase and beyond,” said Michael Crimp, CEO, IBC. “Thanks to the support of so many people in our industry, 4K 4Charity has raised an amazing amount of money over the years and once again it will be supporting some excellent causes.”

To date, the event series has raised more than $1.2 million in gross proceeds and welcomed thousands of participants who have taken over a million steps for diversity and inclusion.

Registration is open at 4k4charity.com/ibc and donations will be accepted until 30th October.
