LaLiga has announced plans to utilise the latest technology as it broadcasts this weekend’s match between Sevilla FC and Real Betis.
The match, known as El Gran Derbi, will be produced in 4K HDR.
The production team will employ 22 cameras, including an aerial camera, to capture the action both on and off the pitch.
LaLiga will use the Replays360 system with five Super Slow Motion cameras capturing every single detail. The production team will also be using live 3D graphics, as well as the Lawo Kick System to provide the most accurate on-the-pitch sounds.
This year’s El Gran Derbi will be distributed via LaLiga’s international feed to 183 countries through 93 television broadcasters.
