Danish cable TV company Stofa has chosen iWedia’s Teatro 3.5 solution for Android TV to operate its new TV box.
Teatro-3.5 will run alongside Android TV 7.0 Nougat, and is integrated with a Conditional Access Systems (CAS), and operates a quad cable tuners 4K STB provided by Korean manufacturer Kaon Media.
“We are honoured and delighted to have been selected by Stofa to provide the software of their next-gen Android TV box,” said Nikola Teslić, CTO at iWedia.
“Thanks to Teatro-3.5 Stofa can use Android TV as a vehicle for their own premium services and provide their subs with the best out of both worlds”.
The new STB will launch this autumn.
