Blackmagic Design has announced a range of new products and updates.
At twice the size of the company’s current largest model, the ATEM 4 M/E Constellation 4K Plus Ultra HD switcher features 80 standard converted12G-SDI inputs and 48 independent 12G-SDI outputs. The solution also includes 16 ATEM Advanced Chroma keyers, 2 SuperSource processors, 4 Ultra HD media players and 4 independent Ultra HD multi-views.

Two further additions to the ATEM family were announced. The ATEM Mini Extreme ISO G2 second generation ATEM Mini live production switcher and ATEM Micro Camera Panel, a portable control panel offering high end broadcast CCU controls for ATEM switchers.
An upgrade to DaVinci Resolve 20 brings over 100 new features and AI tools including AI Animated Subtitles. AI Audio Assistant, AI IntelliScript and AI Multicam SmartSwitch. The release also adds Keyframe editing, voice over palettes, multi-layer compositing tools, new optical flow vector tools and an update to Magic Mask and depth map. DaVinci Resolve 20 pubic beta can be downloaded from the BlackMagic Design website.
Aiming to allow users to backup files with hard drives, Blackmagic Cloud Backup 8 syncs to Blackmagic Cloud enabling collaborative projects to be backed up in DaVinci Resolve.
A new digital film camera, BlackMagic PYXIS 12K features a 12K RGBW sensor in the PYXIS camera design, providing the same sensor as the URSA Cine 12K LF with 16 stops of dynamic range, dual CFexpress media recorders, 10G Ethernet and Blackmagic Cloud global sync. Launched alongside, the BlackMagic PYXIS Pro Handle and PYXIS Pro Grip aim to add flexibility for broadcast and documentary use cases.
