Mediapro and ESPN have partnered for the production of the eSports South American Cup final in Argentina.
The final, which took place at the EstadTV DirecTV Area in Buenos Aires, decided the South American representative for the League of Legends World Cup 2017.
The technical production of the event was be carried out entirely by Mediapro Argentina, transmitted by ESPN through its ESPN+ signal.
Mediapro Argentina said it was looking to “continue searching for and incorporating innovative content” in the Latin American market.
“Mediapro’s move into Argentina’s eSports market is part of the strategy launched in October 2016, when the LVP, Europe’s largest eSports league was integrated into the group,” said the production house. “Mediapro has started an ambitious expansion plan that aims to take the LVP to nine different countries over the next five years.”
