Spanish broadcasting company Mediapro has announced CEO Jaume Roures is leaving the company.
Tatxo Benet will take over the day-to-day running of Grup Mediapro, it added.
“The void that Jaume leaves in the group is immense, and from a personal standpoint, I will deeply miss these wonderful decades of working together, side by side, during which we collaborated to build Grup Mediapro and make it what it is,” said Benet.
Roures founded Mediapro alongside Benet and Gerard Romy in April 1994.
It appears he has been forced out at the request of Mediapro’s biggest shareholder.
