Following reports last month that Amazon is planning to launch new series Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan in Dolby Atmos, the streamer has now also confirmed the show will be available in Dolby Vision HDR as well.
The combined Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision experience will initially be available on certain Dolby Vision TVs and Dolby Atmos enabled audio devices.
“Dolby enables spectacular audio and visual experiences that take your favourite entertainment to the next level,” said John Couling, senior vice president, Commercial Partnerships, Dolby Laboratories. “Through our growing work with Amazon, we can now bring more lifelike experiences to Prime members.”
“Amazon is committed to delivering immersive and compelling content to our Prime Video members around the world,” added Greg Hart, vice president of Prime Video. “Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision will enhance the action-packed scenes in Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan and make viewers feel like they are at the centre of the story.”
Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan will be available on Amazon Prime on 31st August.
