Playhouse Post has opened its refurbished 12,000 sq ft Noel Street facility, offering theatrical grading, 4K HDR finishing and sound for HETV and film in London’s Soho.
Featuring newly refurbished cutting rooms and flexible office solutions, the facility aims to provide productions with an editorial base alongside post production services. A 4K DCI-compliant projected theatrical grading theatre and two Dolby Vision 4K HDR grading suites support Baselight and Resolve workflows. Two 4K HDR Flame suites provide dedicated finishing and review spaces alongside three switchable 4K HDR picture finishing rooms.
Three refurbished Pro Tools studios support 5.1 theatrical mixing and Dolby Atmos Home Entertainment delivery, with voiceover facilities for film, drama and documentary projects, said the company.
Dolby Europe’s 2D/3D screening room is housed at the facility, while an HDR 5.1 QC suite enables final technical sign-off, supporting productions through the final stages. CAT6a and fibre infrastructure connects all suites to 2PBs of storage, including 300TB of dedicated NVMe.

The opening forms part of Playhouse Studios’ wider strategy to build an integrated production ecosystem across the UK and Ireland, said the company.
