Samsung has announced the introduction of remote access for its smart TVs in 2019.
The feature will enhance wireless connectivity with PCs, tablets, and smartphones, allowing users to remotely control apps through their TV.
Users will also be able to remotely access a PC through their TV without a separate HDMI cable connection. Input devices (such as keyboards) can also be connected.
Additionally, web browser-based cloud office services can be used, allowing consumers to access files and work documents from their smart TVs.
Hyogun Lee, executive VP of visual display business at Samsung Electronics, said: “Samsung is committed to creating an intuitive and convenient user experience for consumers.
“With remote access, consumers will be able to easily access various programmes, apps and cloud services installed on multiple connected devices directly through their TV screen.”
