"Merging Scanline VFX and Eyeline Studios under one brand enables us to pioneer new tools and facilitate creative collaboration." said the company

Netflix is bringing its VFX business Scanline VFX and Eyeline Studios into one single brand.

According to the company, combining Scanline’s visual effects with Eyeline’s production capabilities and innovative lab tools means it can “push the boundaries of what’s possible in production”.

Recent Scanline projects include The Woman in Cabin 10 and Andor Season 2, while Eyeline has been working on applying generative AI to production, most notably in Netflix’s Argentine sci-fi series The Eternaut.

Eyeline combines nearly four decades of visual effects artistry with cutting-edge virtual production, AI-enabled tools, and advanced research,” said the company.

“Merging Scanline VFX and Eyeline Studios under one brand enables us to pioneer new tools, facilitate creative collaboration, and drive the future of filmmaking for the most ambitious storytellers around the world.”
