Mr Bates vs The Post Office, Baby Reindeer, The Traitors among BAFTA Craft Awards nominations

The teams behind House of the Dragon, Masters of the Air, Silo and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will compete for the Special, Visual and Graphic Effects award

The nominations for the BAFTA Craft Awards 2025 have been announced, with shows including ITV’s Mr Bates vs The Post Office, Netflix’s Baby Reindeer and the BBC’s The Traitors all up for awards.

The nominees for Editing: Fiction include Mr Bates vs The Post Office, Baby Reindeer, Slow Horses and The Day of the Jackal.

Eric, Say Nothing, Shogun and Sweet Pea will compete for the Photography and Lighting: Fiction award.

The Sound: Fiction nominees include Baby Reindeer, House of the Dragon, Slow Horses and True Detective: Night Country.

The teams behind House of the Dragon, Masters of the Air, Silo and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will compete for the Special, Visual and Graphic Effects award.

Nominations have also been revealed for the BAFTA Television Awards. The six programmes with the most nominations across both sets of awards are:

  • Eight nominations for Baby Reindeer
  • Six nominations for Mr Bates vs The Post Office, Rivals and Slow Horses
  • Four nominations for Life and Death in Gaza (Storyville) and Say Nothing

The winners of the BAFTA Craft Awards will be revealed at a ceremony on Sunday 27th April, hosted by Stacey Dooley. The BAFTA Television Awards with P&O Cruises will be hosted by Alan Cumming and will be broadcast on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Sunday 11th May.
