F1, One Battle After Another, Frankenstein lead BAFTA Film Awards technical categories

Paul Thomas Anderson's One Battle After Another leads the full list of nominations with 14, just two less than the record set by Gandhi

F1, One Battle After Another and Frankenstein jointly have the most nominations in the technical categories at the 2026 British Academy Film Awards.

Across the awards for cinematography, editing, sound and special visual effects, the films each received three nominations. Marty Supreme received two nominations across the categories.

The nominees for achievements in visual effects are Avatar: Fire and Ash, F1, Frankenstein, How to Train Your Dragon, and The Lost Bus.

Frankenstein, Marty Supreme, One Battle After Another, Sinners and Train Dreams are all nominated for the cinematography award.

The editing nominations are F1, A House of Dynamite, Marty Supreme, One Battle After Another and Sinners.

For the sound award, the nominees are F1, Frankenstein, One Battle After Another, Sinners and Warfare.
