Amagi has released details of a collaboration with Vodafone Germany.
Selected as technical service provider and content aggregator, the agreement positions Amagi as strategic partner for Vodafone’s new FAST initiative.
Deploying its FASTKit solution, Amagi aims to provide an end-to-end framework bringing together cloud infrastructure, content operations, metadata and EPG packaging, advert monetisation and access to FAST-ready content for Vodafone, which launched its first seven FAST channels on GigaTV last month.

The collaboration enabled the channels to be integrated into Vodafone’s latest generation of GigaTV set-top boxes, with dedicated slots in the Electronic Programme Guide (EPG). No additional apps are required.
Emma Jones, global head of content, Vodafone Group, commented,“This partnership underscores our priority to broaden content choice efficiently. Amagi’s cloud-native FAST origination and distribution services enable us to introduce new channel line-ups swiftly, manage inventory centrally, and deliver a consistent experience to our customers.
Sridhar Sinnasamy, Sr. VP and business leader for FASTKit at Amagi, added, “This is a milestone FASTKit deployment for us in Europe — one that aims to combine technology, content operations, and monetisation as a fully managed solution. Vodafone’s launch in Germany demonstrates how platforms can scale FAST quickly and effectively when the foundation is right. With Amagi’s FASTKit, we aim to help partners accelerate time-to-market, reduce operational friction, and unlock new revenue streams — all while delivering a compelling viewing experience.”
