Amagi has launched a personalised FAST channel in collaboration with Samsung TV Plus and video news aggregator, LeadStory.
In what the company said is the first of its kind in the industry, Your News Channel by LeadStory enables viewers in Australia and New Zealand to select preferred news categories, filtering out topics of no interest to them.
Powered by the Amagi NOW SaaS platform, the channel aggregates video content from a range of news publishers, including CNN, CNBC, Euronews, Network Ten and Reuters to provide a one-hour rolling feed, delivered as personalised content feeds for every viewer. The LeadStory platform has a monthly audience of more than 7 million via channels on Samsung TV Plus, Rakuten and LG channels, said the company.
