Broadcast Solutions has announced the acquisition of BFE.
Strengthening its position as a provider of broadcast, media and communications systems, the transaction specifically aims to expand Broadcast Solutions’ service portfolio across studio and production technology, media IT, control centre and control room systems, and customised hardware and software development.
BFE’s existing shareholders, Martin Dempf and Sven Hesselbach will continue to jointly manage the company as managing directors alongside Peter Dinkel and Doris Hartl in Vienna. The transaction will not affect customers and partners, with no changes to their ongoing projects and services.

The acquisition aims to leverage both companies complementary areas of expertise, meeting the growing need for technology partners who can cover all aspects of a complex project, unifying consultancy and development through to system integration, implementation and continuing support.
Merging BFE and Broadcast Solutions aims to create a holistic offering combining system integration, engineering expertise, vertical integration and long-term service. With extensive experience in the development of OB and specialised vehicles, IP-based production environments, cloud architectures and large-scale international projects, Broadcast Solutions aims to complement its portfolio with BFE’s expertise across media IT, workflow integration, control centre and control room systems, and the development of customised hardware and software solutions.
