Panasonic has announced the release of its Image Adjust Pro solution. The new plug-in for the company’s Media Production Suite is designed to enable image settings for multiple Panasonic PTZ cameras directly from a PC or tablet.
Designed to solve problems associated with the installation of remote operation panels (ROPs) where space is limited, the plug-in provides a software-based ROP compatible with Panasonic’s studio and PTZ camera ranges. A single licence enables the registration of up to 99 cameras and allows up to 20 to be monitored and controlled simultaneously from a PC or tablet, said the company. The solution aims to reduce complexity, minimise the need for physical hardware and streamline production workflows.
André Meterian, director of professional video systems for Panasonic Europe, said, “With Image Adjust Pro, we’re removing long‑standing barriers in multi‑camera environments and giving operators the freedom to manage image control from wherever they work best. It’s a significant step forward in simplifying complex production workflows.”
The status of every licensed camera is displayed on Image Adjust Pro’s overview screen, while a panel screen emulates the layout of a physical ROP to enable direct multi-camera control. Image adjustment capabilities match those of the Panasonic AK-HRP series ROP enabling teams to operate within a hybrid environment, with primary cameras controlled via physical ROPs and additional units via the plug-in.
Image Adjust Pro is accessible from multiple network devices, allowing technical staff to adjust settings directly from their own stations and enhancing operational efficiency. Three distinct GUI options include a hardware-style layout mirroring the HRP1010 button configuration, a graphical layout similar to video editing software and a customisable interface displaying essential controls, said the company.
