Laptop control for MRMC robots with Flair Bridge launch

Aiming to simplify workflows for freelance operators and production teams, the solution allows users to access MRMC rigs via their own laptops without sacrificing control or reliability

Mark Roberts Motion Control (MRMC) has released its Flair Bridge solution.

Designed to widen access to the company’s motion control robots, Flair Bridge removes the complexity of hardware and operating system requirements to enable robot control from multiple platforms, said the company.

Just two inches long, the compact device integrates across Windows, Linux and, for the first time, Mac systems, without the need for drivers, BIOS changes or OS configurations.

Powered via a 5V USB-C connection, the solution is fully compatible with all MRMC rigs, regardless of age. Streamlining connectivity, the solution allows robots to run over company networks or WiFi.

“Flair Bridge is a game-changer for our customers,” said Assaff Rawner, at MRMC. “It dramatically simplifies setup and expands flexibility, allowing operators to use the laptops they already rely on for everyday work—without compromising performance.”

Flair Bridge will be included with all future MRMC rigs, including the Cinebot Nano.
