Camera Corps has announced the introduction of its Q4K compact UHD camera.
Designed to meet the needs of remote broadcasts including live sports, premium entertainment and reality television, the Q4K PTZ camera aims to deliver broadcast-grade imaging in demanding environments. Its “remarkably small footprint” enables integration with easily discreet commentary booth setups, dynamic robotic heads, and complex point-of-view applications, said the company.
Featuring a high sensitivity 1/1.8” 8.4 Megapixel Sony sensor capable of capturing true UHD resolution at up to 60fps, the Q4K provides “exceptional” low-light performance and native support for High Dynamic Range (HLG Rec.2100).
Integrating with bespoke audio and video routing, the Q4K supports advanced multi-matrix colour primary adjustments, aiming to deliver perfect matching with main broadcast cameras.
An Enhanced CCU version enables the Q4K to be used as a complete remote broadcast node. Audio is provided via remote-controllable ultra-low noise microphone amplifiers and a 24-bit stereo audio 12G-SDI embedder. An optional SMPTE ST 2110 module is available.
