Panasonic has unveiled its latest series of remote PTZ cameras alongside enhancements to its product suite.
Featuring ultra-high speed pan/tilt capabilities and 22x optical zoom, the Panasonic AW-UE200/AW-UER200 series of remote 4K PTZ cameras include a global shutter MOS sensor, which the company said is an industry first innovation.
Compatible with LED walls and designed to minimise flicker from stage lighting, the UER200 series includes a roll axis mechanism with a range of -200° to +200° and supports vertical (9:16) and horizontal (16:9) video output using full sensor, enabling simplified streaming on social media platforms.
New KAIROS control panels
Panasonic has also announced two new KAIROS control panels, the AT-KP340 and AT-KP330. Available with 12 Buses/40 Crosspoint Buttons; and 12 Buses/30 Crosspoint Buttons, the panels feature large touch panels on each Bus row, aiming to ease access to frequently used functions such as snapshots and macros.
Image Adjust Pro update
Enhanced virtual remote-control panels and a new automatic colour-matching function have been added to Panasonic’s Image Adjust Pro Media Production Suite plug-in. The update enables the automatic alignment of colours from multiple cameras to a reference camera without the need for specialist knowledge, aiming to simplify gamma adjustment, matrix and colour correction settings.
The intuitive GUI interface enables consistent colour matching across Panasonic and third-party cameras, said the company, aiming to simplify pre-production setup and drive more efficient workflows in live production environments.
Improved 4K camera colour adjustment
New colour adjustment functions have been introduced for the AK-UCX100 studio camera and AK-UBX100 multi-purpose camera. The Color Temp. Blend function blends temperature data from LED walls and stage lighting to generate an optimal white balance, aligning real-world visuals and LED wall footage. Target Color Correction enables adjustment of hue and saturation for a designated specific colour, simultaneously configuring up to three colour tables. The Chroma Suppression function maintains overall colour reproduction whilst suppressing saturation and colour shift in highly saturated visuals.
