Norwia will be demonstrating the newly launched miniHUB extended temperature solution for variable temperature environments with an operating range of over 100°C on its stand at IBC.

The need for optical devices is growing due to the limitation on coax distribution systems. The new miniHUB is designed for users who step outside the ambient temperatures of controlled environments and has undergone temperature testing according to ATIS-0600010.01.2008 and passed these requirement for operation in extreme environments from -40 °C (-40 °F) to +65 °C (+149 °F).

The extended temperature miniHUB is ideal for cabinets where temperatures will exceed the standard temperature conditions such as stadium fit outs, wall boxes and remote locations.

The new miniHUB extended temperature solution is already being used by a world leading telecommunications company to take outside broadcast provider’s signals into their local POP (Point of Presences) sites in sporting venues. – Monica Heck
