Riedel has unveiled a new range of professional intercom headsets designed for broadcast, sports and other live production applications.
Focusing on speech intelligibility, integration, ergonomics and serviceability, the OnAir headset family covers applications from lightweight single-ear communication to dual-ear headsets. With integrated Push-toTalk (PTT) controls, the 400 and 500 series enable response directly from the headset, while the 500 series features passive isolation for use in demanding environments, said the company.
Available in single or dual-ear versions, OnAir 400 includes a reversible design, pressure-reducing headband cutout and an exchangeable Mini XLR7 connection at the rear cup. Designed for high-noise environments, the OnAir 500 Series combines passive isolation with expanded controls on the headset. Two PTT buttons on the ear cup enable access to intercom communication while a dedicated radio mode enables the buttons to operate with radios.
The lightweight, single-ear OnAir 200 is available either as an analogue model with fixed XLR4F connection or a digital model with fixed USB-C. Both feature mic mute, reversible designs and easily replaceable parts.
