Sunset+Vine and BT Sport extend partnership

BT’s live Premier League and UEFA Europa League football, along with its complete live rugby offering, are included within the deal

BT Sport has confirmed that TV sports producer and distributor Sunset+Vine has extended its current agreement, starting from the beginning of the 2018-2019 Premier League season.

The new four year contract will see the Sunset+Vine produce what equates to 1200 hours of live and magazine coverage per year for BT Sport.

The contract extension takes the partnership, which started in 2013, through to 2022.

Included within the deal will be all of BT’s live Premier League and UEFA Europa League football, along with its complete live rugby offering of the Aviva Premiership, European Champions Cup, European Challenge Cup and weekly Rugby Tonight show, plus the Scottish Premier Football League as well as Australia’s international cricket matches, Big Bash League and Women’s Big Bash League.

The Sunset+Vine’s team of 80+ staff will be based at the BT Sport studios in Stratford.

“We are thrilled to be continuing the successful partnership with BT Sport for a further four years. We are extremely proud of the high-quality productions delivered by our teams over the past five years, and also for the ongoing support, financial backing and faith shown in us by BT Sport,” said Jeff Foulser, chairman of Sunset+Vine.
