Welsh broadcaster S4C has agreed to provide Welsh-speaking viewers with live coverage of next month’s Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
The broadcaster has tasked Sunset+Vine with producing coverage of the event, which takes place from 24 July to 2 August 2026.
Lauren Salter will present S4C’s coverage, alongside Alun Williams, who will report live from Glasgow each evening.
Speaking about the event, Llion Iwan, S4C’s chief content officer, said: “S4C is delighted to broadcast live coverage of the Commonwealth Games for the first time.
“As the only multi-discipline sporting event where Wales competes as Wales, we are proud to fly the flag for Tîm Cymru in Glasgow. From poolside to trackside, viewers will get to witness all the unmissable moments on S4C, the Home of Welsh Sport.”
