Eurovision Sport is working with Camb.ai again to employ AI-created commentary of the European Athletics U18 Championships in Italy.
The partners previously worked together to test live AI-generated commentary at the 2024 World Athletics U20 Championships.
Eurovision Sport use AI to create multiple-language commentary from its French-language remote commentary feed, including Dutch, German, Hindi, Japanese, Mandarin, Portuguese, Serbian and Spanish.
All content will be clearly labelled as AI-generated, ensuring viewers have full transparency about how the commentary has been produced, said the organisation.
Alan Fagan, managing director, Eurovision Sport added: “This initiative marks another milestone in Eurovision Sport’s commitment to making sport more accessible through innovation.
“Following encouraging results from earlier trials, we’re excited to continue expanding this innovation, together with our partners European Athletics and CAMB.AI.”
