RTL Deutschland has announced the launch of dedicated AI infrastructure to support its adtech business, Sidekicks.
Developed by Smartclip to meet the needs of the media industry, Sidekicks combines process automation and media intelligence to integrate AI agents directly into operational workflows, driving secure and scalable AI-powered efficiencies.
Featuring enhanced cooling and isolated connections, the infrastructure, hosted within RTL Deutschland’s technology division, provides a secure environment for Sidekick-based operations on a separate high-performance cluster.
The solution eliminates the need for external cloud services, aiming to provide operational conditions that meet strict requirements for resilience, data protection and scalability.
