Social change broadcaster Together TV is set to reach a wider UK audience when it moves to Freeview SD capacity later this month.
From 22nd July, Together TV will expand its current coverage from 70 per cent to 95 per cent of UK households. The channel is already available on Freeview, Sky, Virgin and Freesat as well as on demand. According to Together TV, it currently reaches 10 million viewers a year across the UK through its TV channel and tens of millions globally through social media.
Alex Kann, chief executive of Together TV, told TVBEurope: “Since our launch last year we’ve been amazed by the growing audience of millions of viewers who follow Together TV and get engaged with our inspiring factual entertainment shows, through the campaigns we run with our impact partners.
“Moving to Freeview SD, thanks to Arqiva who enable us to broadcast with the other TV platforms, will mean being able to reach an even wider audience and activate people to do something good in their lives and communities.”
