Yospace has announced Court TV has selected its server-side ad insertion (SSAI) solution.
Aiming to drive monetisation of Court TV’s ad inventory, Yospace’s Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI) enables delivery of programmatic, one-to-one addressable ads. Integrating with the existing infrastructure, the solution was deployed in just 5 weeks, meeting Court TV’s tight timescale requirements and allowing monetisation of the inventory from launch.
Yospace also enables streams to be monetised as soon as a viewer presses ‘play’ – even if they join during an ad break, said the company. This allows Court TV to benefit from significant revenues across a significant audience proportion.
Using dynamic prefetch technology, the solution ensures Ad Decisioning Services have enough time to fill all ad requests, aiming to maximise value across every ad spot. Observability dashboards provide real-time insights for a constant view of operations, allowing Court TV to fine-tune the experience and ensure performance.
Court TV, which is available across platforms such as Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV and Android TV, was acquired by Law & Crime in February.
Debasish Mishra, CTO at Law & Crime Network, commented, “Court TV’s integration into Law & Crime had to be completed in an incredibly short timeframe, leaving no room for errors. Yospace’s extensive knowledge and experience in Dynamic Ad Insertion, and its highly collaborative way of working, meant potential challenges could be anticipated and addressed early, helping us to get to market quickly. Its innovative technology enables us to maximise the value of our advertising and ensure consistently high ad performance.”
Stuart Barnes, VP international sales, Yospace, added, “Court TV is home to coverage of some of the highest profile trials in the US, and as such attracts a highly engaged, and growing, audience. I’m delighted that we have been able to collaborate so well with Debasish and his team to deliver demonstrable monetisation results within a matter of weeks. This is where our expertise and deep knowledge in ad insertion really comes to the fore.”
