PSG illegally stream Champions League match on Facebook

A reported 1.4 million viewers were able to watch the team's victory over Manchester United

Paris Saint-Germain illegally streamed last night’s Champions League match against Manchester United on Facebook.

Fans were able to watch the team’s victory against United on the club’s official Facebook page. According to Le Parisien, 1.4 million people tuned in to watch.

French broadcaster RMC paid over €350 million for the exclusive broadcasting rights to both the Champions League and Europa League games this season.

According to the report, the livestream appeared on Facebook after problems with RMC’s broadcast, with many viewers saying they were unable to tune into the game.
