Ease Live drives interactive graphics for RTL+ Hungary Champions League coverage

The deployment follows the roll out of the Ease Live platform for the EURO 2024 tournament on France’s M6+ streaming service

RTL+ Hungary has selected Ease Live interactive graphical overlays.

Aiming to enhance interactive coverage for viewers of its UEFA Champions League matches, the company has deployed Ease Live’s graphical overlays solution.

Working in collaboration with streaming tech provider, Bedrock, Ease Live enables fans watching the tournament on RTL+ Hungary’s digital platforms including connected TVs and mobile devices to interact via graphical overlays with match statistics, player details, group standings, live polls and more in real time.

Sitting on top of existing OTT infrastructure, the overlays ensure frame-accurate synchronisation with the live stream, aiming to increase accessibility and monetisation at scale across all major platforms.

Commenting, Kjetil Horneland, CEO of Ease Live, said, “Our seamless and rapid deployment with RTL+ Hungary demonstrates that we can go live across markets within weeks, a real game changer for large broadcast groups. Our interactive overlays put fans in control, delivering the tailored, interactive experiences that resonate with different demographics, including Gen Z sports fans.”

“The Bedrock-Ease Live technology stack is a proven way to enhance the sports viewing experience,” said Jonas Engwall, CEO of Bedrock. ”After deploying the M6+ interactive experience, we can now quickly replicate it in other markets, like Hungary, with consistent quality. This accelerates innovation and improves how our viewers connect with sports through RTL platforms.”

The launch represents the latest in a series of deployments using the Ease Live SaaS platform, including ATP, Gotham Sports Network (covering MLB, NHL and NBA), Spain’s La Liga, and Austrian broadcaster Servus TV, a Red Bull Media House company.
