The team behind SVoD Cirkus have announced plans to launch new non-English language drama service Kritic in Europe.
It is expected to debut in Sweden in December, with another launch in Scandinavia in early 2020.
Parent streamer Cirkus counts ITV among its backers. It was launched in 2013 by industry veterans Hugh Williams and Mark Bradford, and was set up as a branded service that existing pay-TV operators could integrate with their platforms.
The duo’s other service, Curio, is active in Finland, Norway and Sweden.
