Germany’s RTL to launch US-content FTA channel

NOW US will debut on March 21st

German broadcaster Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland is launching a new free-to-air channel celebrating the best US-produced content.

NOW US will debut to the German TV market on March 21st.

The channel will include series such as Modern Family, Glee, Breaking Bad and Suits.

The channel will initially launch on the company’s OTT service on TV Now. The programmes will be available on TV Now’s catch-up service straight after their broadcast on the linear channel.

NOW US will be available via smartphones, tablets, Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV or Android TV.
