Irdeto has announced a partnership with Mediaset España to deliver content through its OTT service, Mitele Plus.
The Spanish broadcaster used Irdeto Control to simplify its operations in the following ways:
- Supporting multiple digital rights management (DRM) systems
- Scaling to the requirements of major live sports events
- Handling an optimised head-end setup sharing infrastructure for multiple daily live events
Mitele Plus is available on smartphones, laptops, tablets and Smart TV apps, and hosts premium sports content including La Liga, the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Copa Del Rey.
