MediaCityUK will play host to tonight’s debate between Conservative leader Boris Johnson and Labour’s Jeremy Corbyn.
Johnson V Corbyn: The ITV Debate, hosted by Julie Etchingham, will be broadcast live from dock10 at 8pm.
The debate will be followed at 10pm by The ITV Election Interviews, a live interview based programme in which other party leaders will be able to comment on the head-to-head debate and set out their own electoral offer. It will be broadcast from studios in East London.
Preparations for tonight’s debate have been underway at MediaCityUK for a couple of days, with ITV reporter Ashna Hurynag tweeting a look at the set this morning.
It now looks a ~little~ different to the setup @errongordon tweeted yesterday – but the stage is ready for tonight’s #ITVDebate!
