IBC posts Conference videos online

IBC2012 videos from Conference Keynote Sessions, Sports Day Sessions, the Content Creation and Innovation Stream and the Business of Broadcasting and Media Stream are now available to view online.

IBC2012 videos from Conference Keynote Sessions, Sports Day Sessions, the Content Creation and Innovation Stream and the Business of Broadcasting and Media Stream are now available to view online. The free on-demand playback service includes videos of Intel’s will.i.am and Johan Jervøe, BBC Director of Sports Barbara Slater’s recap of the London 2012 Olympic Games and the debate covering the future of broadcasting. The themes and opinions aired during the IBC2012 Conference continue to have an extended effect. While BSkyB COO Mike Darcey’s declaration that “there is no new consumer behaviour” cut through much of the hyperbole surrounding the multi-screen world, IBM’s Saul Berman highlighted the crucial importance of metadata as ‘the new oil’. Meanwhile Darryl Jefferson directed the post production for NBC Olympics and showed why the London 2012 Olympic Games was “the biggest digital event in American TV history”. Click here to view selected sessions.www.ibc.org
