Deutsche Telekom renews streaming contract with NORIGIN MEDIA

A long term contract between the DTAG (Deutsche Telekom) and NORIGIN MEDIA, for streaming TV and VOD across mobile devices has been renewed, the company announced today. The contract includes the continued use of NORIGIN MEDIA’s TV and VOD Client Applications and Live Hosted Headend across mobiles and tablets.

NORIGIN MEDIA has been delivering the hosted TV and VOD service to Deutsche Telekom in Germany and Austria since 2008, and introduced the very first iOS client applications for TV and VOD services. The suite of client apps has been configured to support multi-country requirements under the T-Mobile brand. The service carries content including national live channels from ARD, ZDF, ProSieben, SAT.1 and Sky Bundesliga, to Deutsche Telekom’s subscribers.
