Shotoku has announced the latest addition to its Aura range of PTZ solutions with the Aura E2 PTZ elevator.
Specifically designed for PTZ production, the Aura E2 PTZ Elevator enables smooth elevation of the PTZ camera and P2 PTZ Prompter Panner when in use. Featuring more than 1.2 metres (47″) of variable-speed elevation control and a lightweight, three-wheeled studio pedestal, it can accommodate a range of production styles and presenter heights.
Integrating with other system components, the E2 can be operated either manually or via preset shot recallalways under the control of the TR-XPTZ Control System and simultaneously within the PTZ and P2 axes, said the company.
James Eddershaw, MD of Shotoku UK, said,” E2 adds another axis of control to the Aura family, providing even more capability in a professional PTZ production. With E2, PTZ operation moves even closer to the flexibility of use that high-end broadcast robotic systems have become accustomed to. It’s built—like all Shotoku systems—to perform at the very highest level, literally, for years of intensive use.”
