Antenne Réunion upgrades system with BCE solutions

Reunion island broadcasting group Antenne Réunion has replaced its channel management software with BCE’s broadcast solutions suite.

Reunion island broadcasting group Antenne Réunion has replaced its channel management software with BCE’s broadcast solutions suite. The implementation of BCE’s channel management software is designed to optimise and secure the core business applications, and increase productivity between scheduling, advertising management, back office and broadcasting.

Antenne Réunion runs a general-interest channel as well as two websites, antennereunion.fr and linfo.re, a dedicated portal for news.

“The integration of BCE’s channel management tools is an important milestone in the evolution of Antenne Réunion,” said Nicolas Delacroix, director, Antenne Réunion. The entire value chain will be optimised from the tracking of purchases to the analysis of the audience and the catalogue management, the programmes as well as its broadcasting. Beyond the obvious gains for our business these tools will improve office internal relations, get us closer to the information and foster corporate culture.”

BCE’s broadcast solutions include Athena, a library and rights management solution designed to monetise contents and synchronise with archive and accounting departments. Cronos creates the long-and short-term planning, delivering TV programme grids, including detailed titles, materials, costs and rights information. Adonis can be used to create and manage the running order for automation, manages primary and secondary events, and import advertising scheduling.

Fabrice Chinjoie, CIO, Antenne Réunion, commented: “As a TV broadcaster, BCE has clearly identified our issues as well as current TV channels challenges. It is essential for a channel to be able to rely on a reliable provider with a very high added value business. The development teams have been very reactive to fit our needs. In conclusion, the accompaniment of BCE was a key success factor in this project.”
