Humphrey Hoch promoted to co-CTO role at Broadcast Solutions

The appointment marks a significant step in strengthening its senior management structure for continued growth and innovation, said the company

Broadcast Solutions has announced the appointment of Humphrey Hoch as co-CTO. He has been promoted to the newly-created role after eight years as senior director of innovation at the company, during which time he guided the development of the hi human interface platform. With extensive experience in the industry, Hoch has previously held roles at L-S-B Broadcast Technologies and Lawo.

He joins the senior leadership team alongside CTO and managing director Rainer Kampe in the first stage of a strategy that aims to reinvigorate design and engineering at the company. Over the course of the next year, Kampe will move into a more over-arching role with a focus on strategy, market development and key partnerships, said Broadcast Solutions.

“In a turbulent market, Broadcast Solutions is continuing to serve clients and grow our business through consistently delivering systems which provide excellence in quality, creativity and efficiency,” said Kampe. “To do this, we need the knowledge, experience and agility to develop the best solutions for our clients, whatever their project needs.

“At the same time, we need a leadership structure that can scale, while maintaining our core values of innovation, of service and of reliability,” he added. “This planned expansion is a considered and deliberate step to ensure stability today and to be ready for whatever directions the market takes us in the near future.”

Commenting on his appointment, Hoch said, “This is a very exciting opportunity, to be able to work with the best multi-disciplinary team in the industry, on cutting edge media projects. Broadcast Solutions is proud to be a company that holds innovation as its goal, alongside service and reliability, and I look forward to maintaining that policy.”
