ITV has extended its partnership with Unified Streaming.
Aiming to strengthen the broadcaster’s technological evolution, the collaboration builds on a working relationship established in 2018. The Amsterdam-based video delivery software company provides ITV with solutions designed to ensure the resilience and reliability of its streaming system, enhancing viewer experiences in both domestic and international markets.

In December 2024, the ITVX service became Britain’s fastest growing platform in terms of viewer hours, expanding by 35 per cent in the two years since it was launched. Unified Streaming’s technology sits within ITV’s core platform, facilitating video delivery to meet the requirements of both live and VoD workflows as the company pursues ambitious growth.
Mark Ison, director of engineering at ITV, commented, “ITV has had Unified Streaming at the heart of our digital streaming products for many years, and we are excited to be deepening our relationship at this time as we grow and innovate in our technology stack. Knowing that ITVX is using cutting-edge technology is key to having confidence that our platform can serve the millions of concurrent viewers we stream to during moments of national and international significance.”
Unified Streaming CTO, Arjen Wagenaar, added, “At Unified Streaming, our collaborations thrive on a shared commitment to delivering audiences the best possible viewing experience. As ITV continues to grow, we’re proud to support them with reliable and scalable solutions that help drive their success. We’re dedicated to providing ITV cutting-edge streaming technology that ensures a seamless experience for their customers around the world.”
