PA TV Metadata has introduced EMMET, which it describes as a human-in-control, AI-supported enrichment tool designed to improve content discovery, audience engagement and personalisation across broadcast and streaming platforms.
According to the company, EMMET enriches assets at scale with additional descriptive metadata, and adds contextual layers, such as mood, themes, soundtrack information and filming locations, to allow for a more targeted search experience.
EMMET is integrated within PA TV Metadata’s Pawa management and distribution system, where it can be applied to a broadcaster or content owner’s catalogue to enrich assets.
Damon Smith, head of metadata content, PA TV Metadata said: “I’m delighted that EMMET, our human-controlled, AI-supported metadata enrichment tool, is live and sourcing a wealth of engaging, inspirational and mood-based metadata for films and TV shows from trusted sources to reinvigorate the content discovery experience across linear, VoD and FAST.”
