Chryon has announced the launch of PRIME Translate, leveraging AI to enable simultaneous production of content in multiple languages. Designed to drive efficiency in localisation services, the solution orchestrates NVIDIA-driven AI audio translation, graphical text overlays and hyper-realistic facial movement in a scalable, one-to-many model. Aiming to enable broadcasters to expand audiences and unlock monetisation opportunities, PRIME Translate delivers multiple outputs of the same content, realistically presented in different languages for a broad range of markets.
The solution complement Chryon PRIME’s localisation features supporting multiple versions of live content such as customisable controls for playout, adaptive or logic-based parameters and the ability to instantly tailor an entire graphics package to meet local requirements.
PRIME Translate enables companies across live media, news and sports to transition from multi-production models to software-driven localisation at scale, leveraging NVIDIA and its partner network. The solutions one-to-many architecture allows users to offer hyper-local, high-value advertisements in multiple languages simultaneously, said the company.
Chryon’s CEO, Mike Truex, said “This initiative aligns with Chyron’s AI-first commitment. We build the native AI that protects customers’ core workflow integrity, and we bridge to world-class ecosystem AI solutions, like NVIDIA, to maximise live production strategy.”
Drew Hahn, chief growth officer at Chyron added, “With PRIME Translate, broadcast news outlets can now serve multiple regions without expensive expansion and can better leverage their existing production capabilities. Likewise, various sports organisations and rights holders around the world can now expand their reach into lucrative new markets.
“Companies in live media, news, and sports have traditionally been hampered by the expensive, manual processes and multi-production models required to localise content for diverse global audiences,” said Richard Kerris, VP of global media and entertainment at NVIDIA. “Chyron’s PRIME Translate addresses these challenges by leveraging NVIDIA Holoscan for Media and NVIDIA AI infrastructure to deliver real-time, software-driven translation of video, audio, and graphics at scale.”
