Polsat, Teleclub awarded Champions League rights

Both deals have been set for three years, beginning with the 2018/19 season

The broadcast rights to the UEFA Champions League have been awarded in Poland and Switzerland.

Poland’s Polsat will hold the rights to both the Champions League and Europa League from 2018/19. The deal will last for three years and covers all platforms of distribution across television, internet and mobile devices.

The rights are currently held by the DTH platform nc+.

Meanwhile in Switzerland, pay-TV broadcaster Teleclub has secured the rights to the same competitions for three seasons, and will also begin its live coverage in 2018/19.

The company will also make selected games – including the final – available on its new free-to-air channel Teleclub Zoom, which is set to launch on July 22nd.
