During a career which has spanned more than 34 years, O’Connor has held key sales and management roles throughout the broadcast industry, including Fujifilm UK Optical Division, Ikegami UK, EMEA and Canon Broadcast UK. The new position will involve key customer liaison and establishing sales and marketing strategies aiming to increase visibility and penetration of the company’s product portfolio.

Following a 25 year industry career, Stephen Ratcliff becomes sales director, defence, with the aim of growing Videosys Broadcast’s VB Antenna division.
“I am delighted to have joined Videosys in my new role at a time when the company is evolving and expanding into existing and new markets,” said Ratcliff. “Having worked with Colin previously, and witnessed Videosys develop over the years, I have always been very impressed with the knowledge, passion and overriding ambition of the company to deliver the best product to the customer.”
Colin Tomlin, CEO at Videosys Broadcast, said, “Both Ian and Stephen have excellent knowledge of the broadcast industry, and we are confident that these two additions to our team will significantly strengthen Videosys Broadcast’s position within the market. Ian’s impressive track record includes securing contracts with key broadcasters such as the BBC, Racetech and Timeline/BT, while Stephen’s knowledge of RF, video and communication systems will help us further expand our VB Antenna division’s reach into markets such as defence and robotics. We are delighted to have them both on board.”
