There is less than three weeks to go to enter nominations for the TVBAwards 2014, the first awards event from TVBEurope, in partnership with TV Technology Europe. Companies contributing to a project between 1 June, 2013 and 31 May, 2014 can be entered, and nominations are open until Friday 8 August.
The 13 awards are divided into three main categories: Capture, Workflow and Delivery, with a further four awards being presented for Sustainability, Marketing, Lifetime Achievement and an Outstanding Broadcast. There is no limit to the number of categories in which a company or team can be nominated, so if you’ve been impressed by a recent sports broadcast; seen a programme demonstrating an innovative use of sound; or know of a company leading the way in multiplatform delivery, nominate a project – or projects! – now.
Further details of the TVBAwards categories can be found online.
Nominations must include a statement of no more than 300 words, outlining the reasons for qualification. Links to supporting material and up to three images may also be included.
Winners will be selected from a shortlist of nominees by an independent panel of judges representing all segments of the broadcast industry. The shortlist will be announced in September, and the Awards presented at a ceremony on 23 October at the Hilton London Wembley.
Tickets are available now for the TVBAwards, via the website. For questions, email events manager Sara Mather (sara.mather@intentmedia.co.uk), and for sponsorship opportunities contact Ben Ewles (Ben.Ewles@intentmedia.co.uk) or Richard Carr (Richard.Carr@intentmedia.co.uk).
