The deadline for TVBAwards 2016 nominations is almost upon us.

There are now just seven days to put names forward for the third annual awards ceremony, which will take place at the Grand Connaught Rooms on 20 October.

The challenging area of live production is a refined art, and successful productions rely on many component parts working in orchestration to deliver the end result. The Live Production category recognises the teams working together to deliver the best in live sports broadcast, live broadcast, and live broadcast sound.

Live sports broadcast

Award recognises excellence in the field of live sports coverage over the last year. Nominations will have shown excellence in the live capture and real-time delivery of a sporting event.

Live broadcast production

This award recognises live productions of a non-sporting nature that have excelled in the seamless delivery of live or near-live outside broadcasts, studio broadcasts, and alternative live content delivery such as field reporting.

Live broadcast sound

Award that recognises excellence in the recording and mixing of live audio on a broadcast production. The winner will have displayed excellence in the recording and real-time mixing of audio for a live broadcast production.
