The clock continues to tick on the nomination deadline for the TVBAwards 2016, and there are now less than two weeks to put names forward for the third annual ceremony.
The nomination window closes on 22 August ahead of the awards night at the Grand Connaught Rooms on 20 October.
As the industry continues its move to more digital and non-linear means, the TVBEverywhere category pays homage to some of the cutting edge systems being used in programming and content provision across the industry.
This year’s awards recognise VoD/catch-up and mobile TV provision, social media integration, and multiplatform production and delivery.
Multiplatform production and delivery
This award recognises excellence in the production and delivery of broadcast or non-broadcast content for multiscreen consumption. The winner of this award will be a content production or project that has made outstanding use of modern digital platforms to enhance the end user experience via multiplatform delivery.
Social media integration
The social media integration award recognises prowess and innovation for programmes harnessing end user engagement via social interaction. Nominations will be able to demonstrate advanced social engagement strategies that supplement a live or recorded broadcast programme.
TV Anywhere solutions: VoD/catch up and mobile TV provision
This award recognises excellence and innovation in the creation and management of VoD/streaming and mobile services in the interests of expanding end user accessibility to content on demand, and furthering the TV Anywhere movement.
