MediaTech 360: Let’s get personal

Next generation of user interaction, data and artificial intelligence will be discussed on day two

This year’s MediaTech 360 summit will take a look at the future of personalisation, AI, robotics and machine learning.

Day two will begin with a focus on the next generation of interaction, data, voice and discoverability. Matt Bryan, head of data and insight at YouView, will discuss what’s next for connected devices, make some future predictions about the ramifications of data sharing, and consider the importance of leveraging analytics to transform distribution.

This will be followed by a panel including Christina Sarraille, senior strategist, We Are Social, Elliot Willis, commercial director, The Hook, Sarah Milton, all4 head of product, Channel 4 and Zoe Botbol, founder, Zulu Bravo, who will ask: Is content king or is it customer data?

The panelists will also look at the risks, opportunities, and audience control when it comes to data, and consider whether broadcasters will become ‘data casters’.

The second part of the morning will see Yvonne Thomas, education director, SMPTE, lead a case study about capitalising on AI and transforming through innovation. She will look at gaining new insights on both digital and traditional platforms, as well as how to minimise disruption and maximise customisation.

Tickets for MediaTech 360, which is on at Grand Connaught Rooms in London from 20th – 21st June are available here.
